As the federally-designated economic development district (EDD) for the Prince William Sound region, PWSEDD creates and maintains a comprehensive economic development strategy (CEDS).  This page provides the current CEDS, annual updates and action plans, as well as other resources.

The purpose of the CEDS process is to bring public and private stakeholders together to identify and prioritize opportunities to diversify and strengthen the regional economy. The U.S. Economic Development Administration reviews, approves, and oversees the PWSEDD’s implementation of the strategy.
