Increase Regional Partnership and Cohesion

Measuring regional cohesion is a new undertaking for the district. As such, comparative historical data is not available and some metrics do not lend themselves to easily quantifiable standards.

The Prince William Sound Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS) is the primary basis for regional cooperation on economic development issues. The district has a current CEDS with support from the five participating tribal and municipal members.

Stakeholder participation metrics will be developed to align with the 2015 work plan and the upcoming CEDS revision.

Regional preparedness for emergencies and disasters can be improved with the creation of additional local governance and increased regional coordination.
