How’s the Prince William Sound Region performing?
Overall passenger embarkations within the region increased by 5.6 percent between 2013 and 2014. Embarkations are impacted by overall economic activity, scheduled service, planned service interruptions and unplanned service interruptions. Chenega, Tatitlek, and Valdez saw declines embarkations for the period, while Cordova saw a modest increase. Whittier accounted for a significant increase of nearly 14 percent.
